Isaiah 8:17-19

¹⁷ And I will ^(A)wait for the Lord ^(B)who is hiding His face from the house of Jacob; I will even look eagerly for Him. ^18 (C)Behold, I and the children whom the Lord has given me are for ^(D)signs and wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, who ^(E)dwells on Mount Zion.

¹⁹ When they say to you, “^(F)Consult the mediums and the spiritists who whisper and mutter,” should not a people ^(G)consult their God? Should they ^(H)consult the dead on behalf of the living?
